How to Reach Us

  • From the Central Railway Station (Milano Centrale FS): take the subway line 2 (green line) in the direction of Cologno or Gessate). Get off at Piola station and follow the indications in the direction of Politecnico. In Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, turn left and keep following Via Bonardi (the street with cable cars in the middle). At the streetlight, cross the street and turn right into Via Ponzio and take the first narrow street on the left - go straight on until n 34. The trip from the Central Station to the Department approximately takes 15 minutes.

  • From Malpensa airport: take the Malpensa Express train to Milan, Central Station. Once there, take subway line 2 (green line) and follow the indications above. The trip takes approximately one hour and fifteen/thirty minutes. As a further option, bus services operate from the airport to Central Railway Station: this option takes more time.

  • From Linate airport: take the bus 973 in the direction of Piazza S.Maria del Suffragio. Get off at Stazione Forlanini. There take the bus 45, direction Via Viotti - Via Bassini, and get off at the stop Via Golgi - Via Celoria. You will see the Giuriati Sport Centre at the opposite side of the street at your left: cross the street and pass the sport centre, then take the narrow road on the left – go straight on until no. 34: building 20 is opposite to the entrance of the port centre.

Registration

We are aiming to gather a group of maximum 30 motivated and enthusiastic master’s or PhD students with a background in computer science and distributed systems.

Participants need to fill in an application form – the link on the right. We will select participants based on the screening of a motivation statement, transcripts, and curriculum vitae. Accepted participants will be invited to join and register for the Summer School.

Accepted participants eligible for an Erasmus+ grant will need to then register their mobility via a dedicated Erasmus+ mobility site.

Registration Fee

  • € 400
    Includes lunches, coffee breaks, receptions, group dinner, course materials, and Milan activities.

Registration is free for Erasmus+ students
